Punctuation, part 1: Sentences, quotes, and titles

Video and notes #21: Punctuation, part 1: Sentences, quotes, and titles

This is the first of three videos and notes on punctuation. There are three parts:

  1. In the first part, I explain the different types of sentences and what kind of punctuation to put at the end.
  2. In the second part, I explain how and when to use quotation marks (including with titles).
  3. In the third part, I share a useful, online resource for anyone who needs to know how to capitalize a title. In order to put a title in quotation marks, you need to know how to capitalize it properly.

NOTE: I have decided to talk about capitalization in the next video and notes, rather than waiting until later. You will see that I have changed the order of the rest of my videos, too.
